Jan. 10

Found Property – 10500 blk 47th Pl. W.    
An officer met with a citizen who turned in a cell phone that was found at the 92nd Street Park.  The battery was dead and no information could be obtained.  It was booked into evidence as found property.

Suspicious –1000 blk 8th St.        
A resident reported that a male was going door-to-door offering to clean gutters.  The officers contacted the male who was soliciting for a window cleaning company.  He did not have a permit.  He was advised to get one.

Burglary – 5200 blk 93rd Pl. S.W.        
A resident reported that sometime during the day someone kicked in his front door.  His laptop and some jewelry were missing.

Juvenile Problem – 10200 blk SR-525    
An officer responded to the area regarding a disturbance between a mother and daughter and a group of six juveniles.  They had been arguing over a parking space.  There was no assault.

Harassment – 9500 blk 49th Ave. W.                    
A resident reported being threatened by a neighbor regarding an ongoing noise complaint.  An officer spoke with his neighbor and advised him to refrain from contacting the caller any further.

Vehicle Prowl/Theft – 4500 blk Harbour Pointe Blvd.                 
A resident reported the theft of a laptop computer from the trunk of her vehicle some time over the past week.  She was unsure of exactly when or where the theft occurred.

Poss. of Marijuana/Paraphernalia – 11100 blk 56th Pl. W.            
An officer was dispatched to check on an occupied vehicle parked in the cul-de-sac. The officer located and seized marijuana and paraphernalia from the subjects.  Charges are pending.

Jan. 11

Animal Complaint –11700 blk SR-525    
An officer was dispatched to the area for a report of a cat in a trap.  The officer contacted the caller and determined that the trap was set in unincorporated Snohomish County and the cat was inside it.  The caller was referred to the proper agency.

Theft – 5000 blk H.P. Blvd.    
An officer was dispatched to a theft at the location. An engagement ring had been taken from the caller’s jacket.  There was no suspect information and the ring was entered into the computer system as stolen.  

Attempt To Locate –10700 blk SR-525    
Officers were dispatched for a subject who had left the facility without permission.  The subject was gravely disabled.  Officers located him and transported him back to the facility without any problems.  

Narcotics Activity – 9100 blk 46th Pl. W.    
An officer was contacted at the police station front counter regarding someone possibly supplying drugs to the woman’s granddaughter.  The grandmother had questions about text messages on her granddaughter’s cell phone.

Suspicious Person –10200 blk 64th Pl. W.    
A resident advised that 10 minutes earlier a male was at her door offering to work on her car.  The male was in an unknown type motor vehicle, about 30 years old, Hispanic with short hair and a gray sweatshirt.  The subject was gone on arrival.

Criminal Traffic – Beverly Park Rd. & SR-525        
An officer stopped a vehicle because the registered owner had a suspended driver’s license and the driver matched the registered owner.  The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license in the second degree.  

Jan. 12

Vehicle Prowl –12300 blk H.P. Blvd.     
An officer responded to the above address for a vehicle prowl report.  The caller advised that it looks like his neighbor’s vehicle had been broken into.  The owner of the vehicle reportedly lived in the above apartment.  The officer and the neighbor tried to contact the owner of the vehicle, but were unsuccessful.  

Animal Complaint –1200 blk 8th Dr.    
An officer responded to the above address for a report of barking dogs.  The officer heard the dogs bark non-stop the entire time while on scene.  The officer issued a written warning.

Theft –11700 blk SR-525    
An officer responded to a theft report.  Keys were missing from the vending area.  

Runaway –1100 blk 18th Ct.    
An officer was dispatched to a runaway report at the above location.  A caller reported that a female ran away last night and she has not been seen or heard from since.  It was unknown where she may be.  The female was entered into the computer system as a runaway.

Suspicious Persons – 3900 blk H.P. Blvd. S.W.    
Officers responded to the location for two subjects that had just checked out of the hotel and were sitting in the parking lot.  The two were in a maroon Chrysler mini-van.  Staff had found drug paraphernalia in the room the two subjects just checked out of.  While on scene, a Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputy arrived on scene and advised that a vehicle matching the above description was seen leaving a burglary just outside the Mukilteo city limits yesterday.  The deputy photographed the vehicle and occupants. Both of them denied any involvement.  Hotel staff advised that the two subjects were no longer welcome at the hotel.  

Malicious Mischief – 8400 blk 44th Ave. W.    
An officer responded to a malicious mischief complaint at the above location.  Someone put peanut butter on the window of the caller’s vehicle.  There was no damage and the the caller only wanted to make the police aware of the problem.  

Collision – 84th St. & SR-525    
An officer responded to a two vehicle non-blocking non-injury collision at the above location. Vehicle 1 rear-ended Vehicle 2.  The driver of Vehicle 1 was cited.

Jan. 13

Burglary – 8200 blk 44th Ave. W.    
A caller reported that sometime during the previous night the business was broken into.  A TV monitor, an iPod and some cash were missing.

Alarm – 5800 blk 125th Pl. S.W.    
A resident reported that she was awoken by the house alarm and she can hear someone downstairs in the kitchen.  She said that she was home alone and no was else should be inside.  The officers found that the caller’s step-dad had stayed home from work.  He burnt his toast and set off the smoke alarm, not the security alarm.

Animal Complaint – 5200 blk 81st Pl. S.W.        
A resident reported an on going problem with a barking dog.  The officer contacted the dog’s owner at work who was unaware there had been a problem.  He came home to put the dog inside.

Public Assist – 3600 blk South Rd.    
An officer was dispatched to the above location to assist a motorist with a baby locked inside her car.  The officer was unable to unlock the car. The motorist called her husband to respond with a spare key.

Traffic Collision – SR-525 & Evergreen Dr.            
An officer responded to the above intersection for a two-vehicle collision.  Vehicle 2 slowed for traffic and was rear-ended by Vehicle 1.  There were no injuries.

Found Property – 10200 blk SR-525            
Someone turned in a wallet that she found.  There was no identification and it was booked into evidence as found property.

Juvenile Problem – 9200 blk SR-525        
An officer was dispatched to the above area for a report of a group of juveniles “hop scotching” in the roadway.  They were not located.

Burglary – 7600 blk 44th Ave. W.    
A resident reported that the back window at her neighbor’s house appeared to have been broken out.  Officers searched the house and found no one inside.  The house appeared to have been ransacked.  The resident of the house responded and reported that a 50-inch flat screen TV and a .45 Ruger handgun were among the items missing.  The gun was entered into the computer system as stolen.

Collision – 3900 blk H.P. Blvd. S.W.        
An elderly female lost control of her vehicle on H.P. Blvd. S.W. and drove down an embankment into the parking lot where she collided with two parked cars.  The female was transported to Providence hospital with chest pain.

Criminal Traffic – SR-526 & 40th St.                            
An officer stopped a vehicle and cited the for driving with a suspended license in the third degree.

Jan. 14

Traffic Collision – H.P. Blvd. & Harbour Pl.    
While on patrol, an officer discovered a two-vehicle collision.  While on scene a third car slid into the first two cars, narrowly missing the officer.  Three more vehicles eventually also slid into the scene.  There were no injuries.

Traffic Collision – 6800 blk St. Andrews        
Officers responded to the above area for a two-vehicle plus a tree collision.  While on scene, two more vehicles slid into the scene, did not strike the other vehicles but also just narrowly missed the officer.  There were no injuries.

Traffic Hazard – 84th St. S.W. & SR-525        
A caller reported that vehicle were slipping and sliding as they attempted to drive up 84th Street S.W.

Traffic Collision – 11100 blk Chennault Beach Rd.     
A caller reported that a Jeep bumped a van and pushed it into her son’s van.  She said that the Jeep then left the scene.  She was advised that the police station was on level two operations and agreed to call back later.

Traffic Collision – 46th Ave. W. & 76th St. S.W.        
A caller reported that she slid off the roadway into a ditch.  She said that she was not injured.  She was advised that the police station was on level two operations.  She said that she would temporarily leave the vehicle there.

Traffic Hazard – 92nd St. S.W. & SR-525    
A caller advised that 92nd Street S.W. was very icy.

Juvenile Problem – 84th St. SR-525                        
A caller reported that four juveniles threw snowballs at her vehicle and she was now afraid to exit the vehicle.  Officers contacted the four subjects, warned them and they agreed to leave.  There was no damage to the vehicle.

Traffic Complaints – Mukilteo                        
Officers responded to numerous reports of subjects driving recklessly in the snow in various parking lots throughout the city.  Several subjects were warned.

Jan. 15

Disabled Vehicle – 8400 blk SR-525            
A caller reported that a vehicle driven by an elderly male was stuck in a ditch.  An officer responded and stood by until a tow truck arrived.

Traffic Collision –11500 blk W. Oakmont Dr.        
A caller reported that sometime yesterday afternoon a vehicle slid down the hill and caused some damage to his neighbor’s house.  He said the vehicle’s license plate was left behind.  An officer contacted the vehicle’s registered owner who lives at the bottom of the hill.  He said that he was trying to contact the property owner but they have not been home.

Juvenile Problem – 5000 blk 84th St. S.W.         
A caller reported that juveniles were throwing snowballs at vehicles.  They were not located.

Assault 4 DV – 9500 blk 49th Ave. W.        
Officers responded to the above residence for a disturbance between two subjects. The officers determined that a subject pushed the other subject into a wall.  He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
        
Hit and Run – 12100 blk Clubhouse Ln.                    
A vehicle slid off the roadway and into a house, causing extensive damage to the garage.  The vehicle then left the scene.  There were no witnesses or vehicle description.

Jan. 16

Traffic Complaint – 11000 blk Villa Rosa Ln.    
A resident called and requested that his roads from his house be sanded.  Public Works was notified and advised that they would be getting a crew en-route.

Traffic Complaint – Chennault Beach Rd. & SR-525    
An anonymous caller reported that the roadway at the above location needed sanding.  Public Works had already been notified as was aware of the problem.

Collision – 92nd St. S.W. & SR-525    
Officers responded to a report that a fire unit was in the ditch at the above location.  There were no injuries, no property damage and the officers stood by while the firefighters chained up their truck and was pulled out of the ditch.

Blocking Disabled – H.P. Blvd. S.W. & SR-525    
Officers responded to two semi-tractor trailers blocking the above roadway. Officers stood by while drivers chained up and moved their trucks.

Hit and Run Collision – 11100 blk Chennault Beach Rd.
An officer responded to the above address for a hit-and-run collision that occurred on Saturday.  There was no suspect information.

Traffic Complaint – 6200 blk St. Andrews Dr.    
Officers were dispatched to a report of an elderly male and female stuck at the above location on ice.  The couple called back and advised that they no longer needed assistance but they were demanding that St. Andrews Dr. be closed.  Public Works was notified.  

Traffic Complaint – Harbour Heights Pkwy. & H.P. Blvd.    
A caller advised several vehicles were stuck on the roadway and were sliding into each other.  Public Works was contacted and advised of the problem.

Collision – 103 Pl. S.W. & 48th Ave. W.    
An officer responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision at the above location.  A 10-year-old child sledding had slid into a moving vehicle and struck his head.  The child suffered apparent injuries but did not require transport by aid. Parents later took the child to the Everett Clinic because he had lost consciousness.  The child was then transported to Providence by aid.

Traffic Hazard – 4700 blk 78th Pl. S.W.     
Officers were dispatched to the above location for juveniles sledding down the road while cars were trying do drive up it.  Officers contacted the juveniles and they agreed to get out of the roadway.

Burglary 1 DV/Theft 2 – 8300 blk 45th Pl. W.    
A resident reported that his ex-girlfriend entered his residence through an unlocked back door, came into his bedroom and confronted him with a small pocket knife.  She pushed past him and in the process left some minor visible injuries on his chest.  She then stole a North Face jacket containing two credit cards, $600 and his ID.  A BOLO (be on the look out) was issued for her.
