U.S. Representative Jaime Herrera Beutler, Washington State 3rd Congressional District, will be the special guest speaker at the Snohomish County Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner on March 2.
Beutler is one of the youngest women currently serving in the U.S. Congress. She is the first Hispanic in history to represent Washington state in the U.S. House of Representatives, and was named to MSNBC’s “Top 10 Latino Politicians to Watch.”
Congresswoman Herrera Beutler serves on the Appropriations Committee, the Small Business Committee, Committee on Investigations, Oversight and Regulations as well as Subcommittee on Health Care and Technology.
Representative Herrera Beutler reintroduced a Bill to Cut Salary for Congress, White House by 10 percent. She reasserts her commitment to saving taxpayer dollars with “Savings Start With Us” Act.
The event begins with a silent auction and social time at 5:30 p.m. at the Comcast Arena in Everett, with the dinner program at 6:45 p.m.
