Now on exhibit at the Mukilteo Library is a student art show presented by the Art Workshop. The show features the artwork of students age 4 to 17, including drawings, sculptures, prints and assemblage art.

An art opening was held June 5 at the library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd. in Mukilteo. The exhibit runs through the month of June.

"I am very proud of my students who take time in their very busy schedules to learn the fundamentals for drawing, painting, and sculpting, rounding out education while stimulating their creativity through art,” said art teacher Christine Awad Schmalz.

“Their work is a testimony of how far each student can advance with the proper tools learning the techniques and methodologies in fine art."
