The Mukilteo Parks and Arts Commission invites the public to attend an opening reception for the exhibit by local photographer John Brink at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, at the Rosehill Community Center.

The recently installed exhibition spotlights Brink’s landscape photographs, and close-ups of other natural subjects.

Brink was inspired to become a photographer by his initial exposure to a basic photography course in college. He further developed his interest in photography with a stint as a combat photographer in Southeast Asia, which along with further education in photography, led to a life-long career as a Scientific and Technical Photographer for The Department of Defense.

Now retired, Brink has greater time to devote to his own interests in the medium that he loves. His specialty, and passion, is in photographing landscapes and details of natural forms, as the viewer will find featured in this exhibit.

Art exhibits at Rosehill Community Center are co-sponsored by the Mukilteo Parks and Arts Commission and Rosehill Community Center, and change about every three months. Over time, a wide range of artists, media, and styles will be featured in these exhibits.
