Edmonds Community College students from the Learn and Serve Environmental Anthropology Field School (LEAF) completed an archaeological field school in Japanese Gulch last summer.
These college students and their instructors who participated in the excavation will give a presentation at 7 p.m. on Dec. 6 in the Everett Music Project Theater located in the Everett Mall. They will draw upon the artifacts that they have collected to help tell the story of an early 20th-century Japanese American community located near the Mukilteo waterfront.
The lecture is free and is presented by the Snohomish County Historic Preservation Commission.
