Beer pub, game shop grand opening slated
The grand opening of Round The Table Game Pub is slated this Saturday, March 8, at 7600 196th St. SW.
According to co-owner Nick Coelho, Round The Table is a family-friendly board game shop and craft beer bottle pub.
Coelho and partner Tim Morgan also will be offering Full Tilt Ice Cream by the scoop along with a large selection of both modern and rare used board games, role-playing video games and independently published kickstarter games.
“We also feature beer tastings, charity fundraisers, tournaments, 'learn to play' days, and of course a community puzzle and retro arcade machine, plus some local artists work hanging on the walls,” Coelho said.
“We aren't a massive establishment, but just a passion project from a knowledgeable game store manager and an unpretentious beer snob. We feel that geeks are just normal human beings with particular hobbies.”
Saturday’s grand opening will include the Seattle food truck Where Ya At Matt, a visit by the owner of Full Tilt Ice Cream, and a Girl Scout cookie and beer pairing fundraiser for Operation Cookie Drop.
