Cascade Symphony presents Paddington Bear's 1st concert

Introduce children to the joys of classical music with Chappell's Paddington Bear's First Concert, performed by the Cascade Symphony Orchestra and narrated by Dave Dolacky.

The concert will take place at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N, Edmonds.

The 50-minute program begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22. It is designed for children ages 3 to 10 and their families, but children and adults of all ages are welcome.

Children will also meet “rising star” Stephen Leou, age 11, on the cello, who will play the first movement of the Haydn Concerto in C Major.

Come early to try out instruments at the KING-FM Instrument Petting Zoo.

Families are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item to be distributed to Edmonds food banks.

Advance ticket purchase is encouraged. $10, $5 ages 12 to 18, $2 ages 11 and younger.
