Celebrate the Fourth with a flight at HFF

Courtesy of: Historic Flight Foundation Celebrate the Fourth of July with a flight in the B-29 Superfortress 'FiFi' and other vintage aircraft at the Historic Flight Foundation this weekend.

The Historic Flight Foundation in Mukilteo invites you to celebrate the Fourth of July with a barbecue and a flight in a World War II bomber.

This weekend, July 4-6, the Commemorative Air Force's B-29 Superfortress 'FiFi' will be open for cockpit tours. Saturday and Sunday 'FiFi' will take to the skies for several ride flights from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

Friday HFF volunteers will grill hamburgers and hot dogs.

In addition, discounted flights in Historic Flight's T-6, B-25 and DC-3 will be available all three days, as will flights in the CAF's C-45 Expeditor 'Bucket of Bolts.'

Admission includes a B-29 cockpit tour: $15 for adults, $12 for senior/military (65+), $10 for youth (11-17 years old), 10 and under are free.

The Historic Flight Foundation is at 10719 Bernie Webber Dr. in Mukilteo.
