Wellness Event

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Rite Aid in Mukilteo invites you to a Wellness Event. The focus will be on vitamins, nutrition, and hydration. Receive coupons, samples and informational handouts. Seniors who have signed up for our free Wellness 65+ card will also receive 20 percent off nearly the entire store all day. Stop by and meet the pharmacy staff. Slime Time

Dog play group

11 a.m. This monitored Dog Play Group meets at the Mukilteo Dog Park every Saturday. Learn to read the native language of dogs all while enjoying watching the dogs interact in a fun, safe and informative play session. This service is free and provided by the Tails and Trails Mukilteo Dog Park. The Shy Dog Area is reserved for this play group from 11-12:30 p.m. every Saturday from June now through Aug. 31.

Dakota picnic

Noon. The North and South Dakota picnic will celebrate its 25th anniversary in Stanwood with a potluck. Bring your own table ware and beverages (no alcohol), folding chair, etc. Anyone with Dakota connections is welcome, whether you are from there or your parents and grandparents. Dog park volunteers wanted

Tails and Trails Mukilteo Dog Park is sponsoring two Pet Parades with new FUNgility events. Teen and adult volunteers are needed to help the committee with each event to be held in the evenings of July 10 and Aug. 28. Love of dogs a must, a love of fun is essential. Volunteers will be assisting competitors with basic lure-training. No experience necessary. Contact the Mukilteo Off-Leash Dog Park Facebook page.

Recycle cellphones

Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County is recycling cellphones. Cell phones even without service can call 911 when charged. Chamber Breakfast

Free tax workshop

Hospice & Home Care of Snohomish County is looking for volunteers to help in a multitude of ways—visiting patients, delivering supplies, working in the office, helping with events, etc. Information Sessions are held the third Wednesday of each month and are offered in the afternoon one month, and the evening the next.
