Philippines toiletries drive

ABC Learning Center is teaming up with Child United to collect donated medical supplies and toiletries to send to the Philippines. The ABC Learning Centers in Mukilteo and Lynnwood are drop-off locations. Donate now until Nov. 22. Monetary donations are also welcome. All proceeds will go to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. Compassionate volunteers needed!

2-4 p.m. Hospice & Home Care of Snohomish County is looking for volunteers to help in a multitude of ways—visiting patients, delivering supplies, working in the office, helping with events, etc. Information Sessions are held the third Wednesday of each month and are offered in the afternoon one month, and the evening the next. Lighted Boat Parade

4:15 p.m. Lighted boats from area yacht clubs will parade from the Port of Everett to Mukilteo and back.  The parade will be lead by Mukilteo Yacht Club Past Commodore Bruce Fabert aboard “About Time.”  View the parade from many shoreside locations along the route, including Mukilteo Boulevard and Lighthouse Park, with planned arrival off Mukilteo about 5:15 p.m. Weather permitting.  Area boaters are welcome to participate.
