Japanese Gulch Photo Contest

Deadline extended to Dec. 7. Contestant’s photos will be displayed at He Said/She Said.  Photos of Japanese Gulch from local historian and photographer Steve Bertrand will also be on display to inspire creativity. Providence seeks volunteers

Providence Hospice & Home Care of Snohomish County is seeking volunteer barbers to serve patients in the following areas: Marysville, Arlington, Monroe, and Everett. Help patients retain their self esteem and dignity by providing them with haircuts. Cookie Walk & Craft Fair

9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mukilteo Presbyterian Church hosts its annual Cookie Walk and Craft Fair. Variety of cookies sold by the pound. Fill a box of your choice. Cost is $6 per pound. Lighted Boat Parade

4:15 p.m. Lighted boats from area yacht clubs will parade from the Port of Everett to Mukilteo and back.  The parade will be lead by Mukilteo Yacht Club Past Commodore Bruce Fabert aboard “About Time.”  View the parade from many shoreside locations along the route, including Mukilteo Boulevard and Lighthouse Park, with planned arrival off Mukilteo about 5:15 p.m. Weather permitting.  Area boaters are welcome to participate.
