A look at human trafficking

Noon to 1 p.m. The Soroptimist International of Everett’s program meeting focuses on human trafficking. Panel discussion on elder abuse

Register for Little Rookie & Rookie Basketball

Registration for the Mukilteo Family YMCA’s 3-4 and 5-6 year old basketball program is on now. This year’s season will run Oct. 28 through Dec. 7 or Dec. 21, depending on age. Little rookie teams will play four games and rookie teams will play six games. All teams are co-ed and practice once each week for one hour, with games on Saturdays starting Nov. 9. Boo Bash

2-4 p.m. Hospice & Home Care of Snohomish County is looking for volunteers to help in a multitude of ways—visiting patients, delivering supplies, working in the office, helping with events, etc. Information Sessions are held the third Wednesday of each month and are offered in the afternoon one month, and the evening the next.
