Japanese Gulch Photo Contest

The Japanese Gulch Photo Contest runs now until Nov. 9. Historical Society meeting

Everett Chorale concert

Loons of the Salish Sea

Firefighter’s pancake breakfast

8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Annual pancake breakfast hosted by the Mukilteo firefighters and police associations. Firefighters and police – including the chiefs – will flip pancakes and cook eggs and ham. Chief’s cook-off is scheduled to take place at 10:30 a.m. Fire and police vehicles will be available for pictures. Community Garden Work Party & Potluck

10 a.m. Join the Mukilteo Community Garden for an end-of-the-season work party and potluck. Register for Little Rookie & Rookie Basketball

Registration for the Mukilteo Family YMCA’s 3-4 and 5-6 year old basketball program is on now. This year’s season will run Oct. 28 through Dec. 7 or Dec. 21, depending on age. Little rookie teams will play four games and rookie teams will play six games. All teams are co-ed and practice once each week for one hour, with games on Saturdays starting Nov. 9. On Halloween, Key Club volunteers from Kamiak High School will be collecting donations for UNICEF. Volunteers will trick-or-treat door-to-door in Mukilteo asking for donations to help provide children around the world with clean water, quality education and shelter.

Project Linus seeks volunteers
