Once harvested, that chard will go to the Mukilteo Food Bank.

About 35 people gathered at the Mukilteo Community Garden on Saturday, April 22, to clean up the grounds and wake up the beds.

The annual event enlists helping hands from the Kiwanis Club of Mukilteo and associated Key Clubs at local schools. Some 17 Key Club members participated this year.
