EvCC to host multicultural job fair Oct. 12 | School brief

Oct 05, 2016

Everett Community College will host a multilingual and multicultural job fair on Wednesday, Oct. 12.

Fifty local employers with full- and part-time job opportunities will be represented at the event.

The fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in EvCC’s Jackson Building, at 2000 Tower St. in Everett.

The event will feature local employers recruiting from the following industries: aerospace, labor and manufacturing, education, government, customer service and retail, health care, staffing agencies, maintenance and repair, and nonprofit organizations.

You don’t have to be a current or former student to attend. Anyone who speaks English as a second language and/or is multicultural and seeking a job is invited.

Refugee & Immigrant Services staff and volunteers will be available to serve as interpreters of 20 languages at the event. More than 250 job seekers attended last year’s fair.

Attendees should bring resumes, dress professionally, have questions for employers, and be prepared to follow up with companies and positions of interest.
