Event connects Latinos to resources and networking opportunities
Join the community Saturday, Aug. 24, at EdCC to celebrate Latino culture and support a worthy cause.
Latino Education and Training Institute (LETI), a nonprofit empowering and educating Latinos in Snohomish County, will host its 10th “Feria Latina,” a community networking event featuring local businesses and vendors who want to reach out to the Latino population and provide resources.
Booths will cover areas such as: business development, education and health and wellness.
All proceeds go to LETI’s Latino scholarship fund.
There will be Latin American cuisine, a live Zumba fitness class, free health screenings and flu shots available Saturday, Aug. 24, at Edmonds Community College (EdCC) in the Snohomish Hall building parking lot at 200th St. & 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood.
“We’re really excited to be hosting our 10th fair,” said Rosario Reyes, board president at LETI. “It’s always reassuring to see the amount of community support there is for Latinos in South Snohomish County.”
The event is free and open to the public. Fair hours are 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
