Here is your opportunity to get involved in a volunteer program that contributes to preventing the decline of frogs and protecting important wetland habitats.
Learn how to collect and report information about frog and toad populations here in Washington.
A field trip will be scheduled in April. Supply fee: $5. Instructor, Thayer Cueter, Just Frogs Foundation.
Kids aged 10 and up are welcome, if registering with an adult. This class will be offered three times, at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main Street, Edmonds.
The first class will be Saturday, January 12, 10 a.m. – Noon. It will also be offered February 16 and March 30. The registration fee is $18 for Edmonds residents, and $21 for non-residents. Register with Edmonds Parks & Recreation, 425-771-0230, www.reczone.org.
