‘Full-Rip 9.0’ author speaking at Edmonds Library
As part of the Great Washington Shakeout, Seattle Times science reporter Sandi Doughton will speak 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Edmonds Library on how to be safe during big earthquakes.
Doughton is author of “Full-Rip 9.0: The Next Big Earthquake in the Pacific Northwest.”
Along with her presentation, “Shake, Rattle & Rebound,” Doughton will lead discussions of the earthquake risks in the region, the potential impact of a major quake on people and economy, and ways to better prepare for those impacts, both individually and collectively.
The Edmonds Library is at 650 Main St., Edmonds.
