Future of Flight to host aerospace career fair
WorkSource Snohomish County and the Future of Flight Foundation are hosting an Aerospace Career Fair on Feb. 20.
The career fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. followed by an employer panel from 3:15-4:15 p.m. at the Future of Flight Aviation Center, at 8415 Paine Field Blvd. in Mukilteo.
The fair will feature industry employers and educational providers. Human resource professionals will be on site to critique job candidate resumes, so attendees should dress ready to interview and bring several copies of their resumes.
At 3:15 p.m., a panel of employers will dispel myths about what their companies are looking for in employees, provide insight into what it takes to get hired in the aerospace industry, and offer tips on how to ace an industry interview.
Job candidates may register in advance at www.worksourceonline.com/careerfair/jobseeker. The fair is free and open to the public.
Employers and training providers interested in participating in the fair should register at www.worksourceonline.com/careerfair/employer and www.worksourceonline.com/careerfair/educator respectively. Registration is available online and participation is free.
