Edmonds Parks & Recreation is offering a class on gathering edible shellfish on Wednesday, March 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Francis Anderson Center.

Learn how, when, and where to safely harvest and prepare clams, oysters and Dungeness crab.  Instructor Roger Urbaniak will teach you how to read a tide table, provide hands-on instruction in the proper use of tools such as clam rakes and crabpots, and send you home with a few favorite recipes.

Cost is $18 Edmonds residents/$21 non-residents.
