Glacier Peak beats Kamiak | Girls prep basketball

The Kamiak girls basketball lost a non-league game to Glacier Peak on Wednesday, Dec. 11. The final score was 55-38 for the Grizzlies.

Glacier Peak led 16-13 at the end of the first quarter, outscoring the Knights 11-8 for a 27-21 lead at halftime.

Glacier Peak continued to lead in the second half, putting up 14 in the third, while holding Kamiak to eight points and posting a 14-9 fourth quarter.

Nora Aboulhosn and Katy Hamill both scored seven points during the loss and Aubrey Patrick earned six points, as did Tylor Adcock. Salena Taylor scored five points, Margaret Slack earned three points, while Kaily Larson and Monique Canda both scored two points. Slack and Aboulhosn both hit three-point shots during the game.

Kamiak, now 0-2 this season, will host Lynnwood on Friday, Dec. 13 at 7:15 p.m.
