Help others – one stitch at a time

Mar 13, 2013

Want to be a CTA? Who or what is a CTA, you ask?

Clothing and Textile Advisors (CTA) is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote sewing, needle and textile arts through educational and charitable activities within our community and our membership, one stitch at a time.

The CTA are in partnership with 4-H, although you do not have to be in 4-H to participate. The organization offer hands-on classes throughout the year for youth and adults, including the annual youth program, Camp Stitch-a-Lot.

CTA unites with community needs not typically reached by other programs in Snohomish County through its Outreach and Sew Thoughtful programs.

If you think you’d like to become a CTA, you are invited to attend an orientation from 9-noon on Monday, March 18. The Snohomish County Chapter’s eight-week training is scheduled April 1 - May 20 (on Mondays only) from 9 a.m. -2 p.m. in the McCollum Park Education building behind the Snohomish County Extension Office, 600 128th St. S.E., Everett.
