Help take a bite out of domestic violence | A&E brief
Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County is holding its annual luncheon at the Outback Steakhouse to “Help Take A Bite Out of Domestic Violence” from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at the restaurant on Everett Mall Way.
The luncheon helps to kick start the Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County’s Holiday Gift Drive.
In addition to enjoying lunch, the Snohomish County nonprofit organization asks that each supporter bring an unwrapped gift or gift card for either a mom, dad or child. All gifts go to clients and their children to help brighten their holiday season.
The lunch menu: Brisbane caesar salad; Outback special sirloin steak or grill chicken on the barbie; roasted garlic mashed potatoes; and a beverage of your choice.
There will be a variety of silent auction items to help you with your own holiday gift giving, including holiday wreaths, gift baskets, Seahawks gear and more.
Cost for lunch is $15 per person. Reservations are highly recommended. Call Stephanie Civey at 425-259-2827 ext. 1013 or email her at email@example.com for reservations.
The Outback Steakhouse is at 10121 Evergreen Way, Ste. 15, in Everett.
If you’re unable to join DVS for lunch, you can still give a gift by clicking the “Donate Now” button at www.dvs-snoco.org.
