Here’s complaint No. 12 | Letter
Editor, The Beacon:
My wife and I felt compelled that one of us write you to state our objection to the heading you used for the Kudos & Complaints story (so, yes, this is one more complaint) [“Mosque attendance will add to gridlock on Speedway | Kudos & Complaints,” The Beacon, front page, May 14].
Of the 11 complaints, you highlighted the one concerning the mosque in the larger heading, which is, we believe, meant to focus on the attention and fears of certain individuals in our community.
Whereas, the story about strangers approaching kids (which does get second rating) is a much more immediate and important issue.
Just seems an obvious bias there…
