Hultz nets eight goals as Snohomish drops Mukilteo 25 - 5 in girls lacrosse

Amanda Hultz scored a season-high eight goals to lead Snohomish to its sixth win of the season with a 25 - 5 girls high school lacrosse romp over Mukilteo, Tuesday at Glacier Peak High School. The win kept Snohomish on top of the girls North Sound Conference.

Snohomish jumped on Mukilteo early, scoring 17 first-half goals before adding another eight in the second.

Hultz, a Glacier Peak junior, now has 25 goals on the season. Kayla Petz had five saves in goal for Snohomish, while Mukilteo's Kennedy Newman had nine saves.

Snohomish (6-2-0) next faces Nathan Hale (5-2-1), Monday, April 23 in a 4 p.m. start at Lower Summit East field in Seattle. Mukilteo (1-6-0) next faces Lakeside (4-1-0), Friday, April 20 in a 7:30 p.m. start at Mariner High School.
