Introduction to fly fishing

Now is the right time to learn how to fly fish!  Certified Casting Instructor Randy Butler and other members of Olympic Fly Fishers of Edmonds will teach you about rods, reels and line, and the basics of casting and fly tying.  Learn tactics and strategies for hooking and landing fish in Puget Sound and other waters of Washington State.

Adult class, open to youth 14 and up.  Register with Edmonds Parks & Recreation at 425-771-0230, or online at www.reczone.org.  Class starts Thursday, May 1, and runs for five weeks, 6:30-8 p.m. Thursdays at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main St., Edmonds.  Total cost of class is $55 for Edmonds residents and $63 for non-residents.
