Jackson blanks Mariner | Boys prep tennis

The Jackson boys tennis team shut out Mariner during a league match on Wednesday, Oct. 9. The final score was 7-0 for the Timberwolves.

In singles matches, Alex Hoang lost to Ben Mietzner 6-1, 6-0 and Ferdinan Feliciano lost to Peter Cung 6-0, 6-0. Jignesh Trivedi lost to Grant Follis 7-5, 6-1 and Joseph Castro lost 6-1, 6-0 to Nicholas Magarelli.

In the doubles matches, Kal Johal and Sebastien Khoutxaysana lost to Luke George and Bence Dare 6-0, 6-0. Jeffrey Choe and David Chang lost to Josh Yi and Trevor Pence 6-1, 6-1, while Jesse Johal and Oscar Ponce lost to J.T. Williamson and Patrick Follis 6-1, 6-0.

Mariner is 1-9 in league and 2-9 overall this season. The Marauders will host Cascade on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 3:30 p.m. and will host Snohomish on Friday, Oct. 11.
