Jackson defeats Kamiak 2-1 in foggy game | Girls prep soccer
The Jackson girls soccer team beat Kamiak 2-1 on Tuesday, Oct. 22 on a very foggy night.
Christine Heisen scored the first goal of the match for Kamiak, assisted by Bailey Lux-Lowry, lifting the Knights to a 1-0 lead.
But Jackson scored when Mackenzie Hanson hit the mark, followed by a penalty kick goal by Nicole Castro late in the game.
Kamiak is 9-3 in league and 9-3-1 this season, currently in third place in the 4A South league behind Jackson and Edmonds-Woodway.
The Knights will take on the Warriors on Thursday, Oct. 24 in a 7:30 p.m. game at Edmonds Stadium.
