Jeffrey Lawrence Kane: 1961 – 2012
Jeffrey Lawrence Kane died suddenly of a heart attack on Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
Jeff (“Lar” to his family) was born November 17, 1961 in Toronto, Canada. After living all around Canada, Jeff graduated with a degree in History from the University of Guelph, Ontario.
He met Laura at a dragon boat race in 1995; they married in 1996 and moved to the U.S., where they have lived in the Mukilteo area since 1998 while
Jeff pursued a career in mortgage banking.
A passion for his family gave meaning to Jeff’s life. He is remembered by all who knew him as a great family man.
He played hockey and loved hiking, bicycling, skiing, formula one, and many other sports. Jeff also loved coaching his boys’ sports teams, travelling, and listening to music.
He was happy working outside, gardening, camping and keeping in touch with his family, including all of his nephews and nieces, and with his huge circle of friends.
Surviving family members include his wife, Laura, and sons Bradley and Alex Kane; his parents, Jeff and Madiline Kane; and his two sisters, Barb and Candy Kane.
A service in celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Presbyterian Church in Mukilteo.
In lieu of flowers, Boeing Employee Credit Union is accepting donations for the Jeffrey L. Kane Family Fund.
