Jerrel “Jerry” Dean Mooring, 65, died unexpectedly on April 30, 2013 in Everett with his loving girlfriend of 23 years, Arlene Rafoth, at his side.

Born Jan. 7 1948 in Carlsbad, N.M., Jerry was the son of Tom and Pauline Mooring of Pueblo, Colo.

He is survived by and the youngest brother of Glen Mooring, Frank Mooring, John Mooring, Kenneth Mooring and Arline Beck.

He was the devoted father to Jeremy and daughter-in-law Bobbie Mooring, Jason and daughter-in-law Heidi Mooring, Jordan and daughter-in-law Jamie Mooring and daughter Jill Holasz.

He was also the proud grandfather of Carter, Cameron, Lucas, Noah, Grace, Anna, Kaian, Leila Mooring and Lily and Declan Holasz.

“Bumpy” will be profoundly missed by the Chris and Eric Rafoth families.

Jerry was an award-winning real estate agent for 30 years for Windermere, Keller Williams and John L. Scott. He loved golf, basketball, coaching, “wrasslin,’” watching sports, casinos and music.

He was the longest-living successful kidney transplant recipient in Washington state.

A memorial celebration of his life will be held at the Gleneagle Golf Course May 19 at 2 pm. Memorial fund donations, in lieu of flowers, will be accepted at the celebration.
