Kamiak beats Arlington 1-0, faces Edmonds-Woodway in district semis | Girls prep soccer

The Kamiak girls soccer team stayed alive in the 4A Wesco district tournament after beating Arlington 1-0 on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Kamiak’s only goal of the game against Arlington was scored by Brelyn Kussman, while goalie Shannon Peth was credited with the shutout.

The Knights will now face league rival Edmonds-Woodway in the district semifinals on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Edmonds Stadium.

The winner of the game on Tuesday will play in the district title game on Thursday, Nov. 7 at Goddard Field against the winner of the Jackson vs. Snohomish game. The loser of Tuesday’s game will at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, also at Goddard.

Playoff information will be updated as the tournament are played.
