Kamiak beats Cascade 6-1 | Boys prep tennis

The Kamiak boys tennis team earned a 6-1 league win over Cascade on Thursday, Sept. 19.

In the singles matches, Jimmy Hua lost to Patrick Chung 6-4, 6-4, while Kamiak’s Garrett Peterson beat Chris Kapetanov 6-0, 6-0. Joseph Lee beat Simon Josephson 6-0, 6-3 and Janson Garside beat Joe Hall 6-1, 6-1.

In doubles, Dominic Lee and Lan Kim beat Nick Torrence and Adam McArthur 6-0, 6-4, while Brian Moon and Daniel Chung beat Aaron Bertell an Alex Train 6-2, 6-2. Ben Lee and Tyler Bang beat Blake Hilde and Intae Oh 6-0, 7-5 in the final game of the day.

Kamiak is now 3-1 in league this season and 4-1 overall. The team will host Mariner on Monday, Sept. 23 at 3:30 p.m.
