Kamiak beats Cascade 6-1 | Boys prep tennis

The Kamiak boys tennis team beat Cascade 6-1 on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

In singles matches, Jimmy Hua lost to Cascade’s Patrick Chung 6-4, 6-2, while Joseph Lee beat Adam McArthur 6-1, 6-2. Daniel Chung beat Nick Tomenu 6-2, 6-2 and Janson Garside defeated E. Oh 6-0, 6-2.

In the doubles matches, Lan Kim and Garrett Peterson beat Simon Josephson and Joe Wall 6-1, 6-1, while Oliver Collins and Brian Moon beat C. Cook and Alex Durham 6-4, 6-4. Tyler Bang and Ben Lee won the final match of the day for Kamiak, beating Colby Campbell and Cam Gerlocher 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.

Kamiak is 11-2 in league and 12-2 overall this season. The team will play at Mariner on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m. in the final match of the regular season.
