Kamiak beats Edmonds-Woodway 5-2 | Boys prep tennis

The Kamiak boys tennis team beat Edmonds-Woodway in a league match on Friday, Sept. 13. The final score was 5-2.

In singles, Kamiak's Kimmy Hua beat Max Teer 6-1, 6-1 and Joseph Lee beat Brandon Chen 6-3, 6-1. Edmonds-Woodway's Grayson Turley beat Garrett Peterson 7-5, 4-6, 6-4, while Kamiak's Jansen Garside beat Brian Song 6-3, 6-2.

In doubles matches, Dominic Lee and Lan Kim of Kamiak beat Riley O'Brien and Chase Holmes 6-1, 6-2. Edmonds-Woodway's second win of the afternoon game when Connor Santler and Kit Teer beat Brian Moon and Oliver Collins 6-3, 1-6, 6-2. Kamiak's Daniel Chung and Ben Lee beat Quinn Walker and Evan Lester 6-2, 6-2.

Edmonds-Woodway is 0-2 overall this season, while Kamiak has a 1-0 league and 1-1 overall record.
