Kamiak beats Edmonds-Woodway, Monroe and Mountlake Terrace | Boys prep swimming

The Kamiak boys swim team traveled to Lynnwood for a quad meet against Edmonds-Woodway, Monroe and Mountlake Terrace on Thursday, Dec. 12.

The Knights beat the Warriors 126-43, Mountlake Terrace 133-32 and Monroe 127-43.

The Knights team of Eben Schumann, Henry Limm, WooHong Lee and Alonzo Tacuyan won the 200 medley relay in 1:47.09. Limm also won the 200 freestyle race in 1:54.63. Alonzo Tacuyan was first in the 200 individual medley race against Monroe and Mountlake Terrace, finishing in 2:17.56.

Schumann was first in the 50 freestyle race in 22.47 seconds, Daniel Carey was first in the 100 freestyle event in 52.63, while Lee won the 500 freestyle race in 6:13.30.

The Knights 200 freestyle relay team of Lee, Carey, Tacuyan and Kris Kusada were first in 1:37.17, while Schumann earned another win in the 100 backstroke race in 58.14. Shelby Lee won the 100 breaststroke race in 1:04.71 and the Knights group of Tristen Hansen, Carey, Chris Thomsen and Lee won the 400 freestyle relay in 3:47.60.

Kamiak will take on Lake Stevens in a home meet beginning at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
