Kamiak beats Mariner 139-41 | Girls prep swimming
The Kamiak Knights beat Mariner 139-41 in a girls swimming meet on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Kamiak High School.
The Knights won the 200 medley relay with the team of Alyssa Michuad, Amy Pilloud, Stina Seaberg and Bailey Kindle with a time of 2:11.46. Mariner’s Brianna Lucien won the 200 freestyle in 1:58.73, while Pilloud won the 200 individual medley for Kamiak in 2:39.39.
Haley Lasley won the 50 freestyle in 27.29 seconds for Kamiak, while teammate Lindzey Lasley won the diving competition with a score of 156.65.
Laura Johnson won the 100 butterfly in 1:01.53, while Mariner’s Lucien won the 100 freestyle in 54.84.
Lyndsey Willis won the 500 freestyle for Kamiak with a time of 5:37.71, with teammate Angeline Dovinh winning the 100 backstroke in 1:05.64.
Kamiak’s 200 freestyle relay team of Shannay Kammann, Brittney Kessel, Kat Kirby and Alicia Kuoch won in 2:21.03.
Alexis Smith won the 100 breaststroke in 1:33.85, while the Knights team of Kindle, Iris Vold, Nicole Hoot and Ingrid Straume won the 200 freestyle relay in 4:20.84.
The Knights are 9-0 in league and 9-1 overall this season, and Mariner is 2-10 this season. Kamiak will take on Cascade on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 3:15 p.m. at Kamiak. Mariner will take on Marysville-Pilchuck and Marysville Getchell on Thursday, Oct. 24 at Marysville-Pilchuck at 2:45 p.m.
