Kamiak beats Mariner in three games | Prep volleyball

The Kamiak volleyball team earned its second league win on Thursday, Oct. 17, beating Mariner in three games. The final scores were 25-18, 25-11 and 25-10.

Kamiak’s Rian Larsen posted 14 kills during the win, while Kat Anderson added 13 kills and 11 digs. Meghan Hayes posted 25 digs during the win and Bailey Cornett had three blocks.

Mariner’s Autumn Miner had six kills and 10 digs during the Marauder’s home game, while Stephanie Staheli added five blocks and Sirreh Saidy posted 18 digs and two kills.

Kamiak is 2-4 in league and 6-4 overall this season, while Mariner is 0-6 and 2-8 overall.

The Knights will host Cascade on Tuesday, Oct. 22 and Mariner will take on Edmonds-Woodway on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Both games are set for a 7 p.m. start time.
