Kamiak beats Shorewood by four points | Girls prep swimming

The Kamiak girls swimming team won a close match with Shorewood on Tuesday, Oct. 1. The Knights won by four points, with a final score of 95-91.

Individually, Laura Johnson won the 200 freestyle in 2:03.11, while Ingrid Straume won the 200 individual medley race in 2:20.17. Talor Bohot won the diving competition with a total of 144.65 points, while Angeline Dovinh and Ari Norberg tied for first place in the 50 freestyle in 26.38 seconds. Dovinh also won the 100 freestyle race in 56.93, while Lyndsey Willis won the 500 freestyle race in 5:35.06.

The Kamiak 400 freestyle relay team of Dovinh, Willis, Johnson and Straume won in 3:47.61.

The Knights will compete against Stanwood on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 3:15 p.m. and will host the Mukilteo Invite on Saturday, Oct. 5.
