Kamiak beats Snohomish, Glacier Peak during Wesco meet | Girls prep swimming

The Kamiak girls swim team hosted a meet on Tuesday, Oct. 8 against Glacier Peak and Snohomish. The Knights won both, beating Snohomish 114-69 and Glacier Peak 126-60.

Kamiak’s Angeline Dovinh won the 50 freestyle in 25.77 seconds, while Laura Johnson won the 100 butterfly race in 1:02.35. She also won the 100 backstroke event in 1:03.09, and teammate Lyndsey Willis won the 500 freestyle race for the Knights in 5:34.14. Amy Pilloud won the 100 breaststroke race for the Knights in 1:16.96.

Kamiak will face off against Edmonds-Woodway on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the Lynnwood Pool in a 2:45 p.m. meet.
