Kamiak boys seventh, girls 12th at Fort Steilacoom Invite | Prep cross country

The Kamiak boys and girls cross country teams traveled to the Fort Steilacoom Invite on Saturday, Sept. 21. The boys team finished in seventh place with 308 points, while the girls team finished in 12th place with 356 points.

Individually for the boys, Jerry Behrens was 28th in 16:35, while Ben Halladay finished in 16:42 for 35th place. Seth Villanueva was 69th overall in 17:51, followed by Cullen McEachern in 70th in 17:16. Skyler Gradford finished in 17:41.

In the girls race, Nicole Vigjen was 40th overall in 20:10, followed by Molly McEachern in 64th place in 20:49. Teammate Chloe Morrison finished in 21:18 for 85th place and Brittney Friend finished in 97th place in 21:30. Tiana Roe finished in 21:34.

Kamiak will travel to Mountlake Terrace High School on Thursday, Sept. 26 for a meet against the Hawks and Lynnwood.
