Kamiak downs Mariner 7-0 | Boys prep tennis

The Kamiak boys tennis team earned a league win over Mariner on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The final score was 7-0 for the Knights.

In the singles competition, Jimmy Hua beat Alex Huong 6-0, 6-2, while Garrett Peterson beat Kal Johal 6-0, 6-0. Janson Garside beat Ferdinan Feliciano 6-0, 6-1 and Daniel Choung beat Dan Coung 7-5, 6-2.

In doubles, Dominic Lee and Lan Kim beat Oscar Ponce and Joseph Castro 6-0, 6-0, while Brian Moon and Tyler Bang beat Sabastien Khoutzaysana and Jignesh Trivedi 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. Ben Lee and Oliver Collins beat Jesse Johal and Jeffery Choe 6-2, 6-3.

Kamiak is 4-1 in league and 5-1 overall this year, while Kamiak is 0-5 in league and 1-5 overall.

Kamiak will play Monroe on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 3:30 p.m. at Kamiak, and will travel to Mount Vernon at 3:30 p.m. Mariner will host Arlington on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 3:30 p.m. and will travel to play Mount Vernon on Monday, Sept. 30.
