Kamiak falls to Shorecrest in overtime | Boys prep lacrosse

The Kamiak boys lacrosse team played its first game of the season on Tuesday, March 198, losing to Shorecrest in overtime.

The final score was 10-9 for Shorecrest.

Regulation time ended with both teams tied at 9 points. After just over a minute in overtime play, Kamiak was a man down when Shorecrest scored the game winning goal.

Kamiak's Alex Indelicato scored three goals, while teammate Tyler Keele scored twice, along with Steele Fosth. Miles Cragg and Jackson Finnerty each scored one goal. Goalie Ian Carlson made 18 saves during the loss.

The Knights, now 0-1 this season, will host Meadowdale on Thursday, March 20 in an 8 p.m. game at Kamiak High School.
