Kamiak junior selected for state LEAP Committee | School brief
A junior at Kamiak High School has been appointed to a Washington Interscholastic Activities Association leadership committee.
Tylor Adcock, of Mukilteo, was recently selected for the 2014-15 WIAA LEAP (Leadership through Education, Activities and Personal Development) Committee.
Tylor is one of six students from across Washington state to be appointed to the committee based on their academic and athletic accomplishments in high school. The committee is made up of juniors and seniors.
Student representatives are involved in WIAA events, meetings and community projects and serve as the voice of about 230,000 Washington students involved in WIAA.
The LEAP Committee is in its eighth year. The deadline to apply to join the committee next year is May 31. Email email@example.com for an application.
