Kamiak loses to Lynnwood | Boys prep basketball

The Kamiak boys basketball team lost a 61-57 game to Lynnwood on Friday, Dec. 13.

The Royals led 13-12 at the end of the first quarter and led 27-20 at the end of the first half.

In the second half, Lynnwood outscored Kamiak 20-12 in the third quarter, but the Knights won the fourth quarter 25-14, but lost the game.

Hendersen Belk scored 16 points, Drew Blacksmith scored 14 points during the loss, while fellow senior Jonathan Lee scored 13 points. Chance Lord scored six points, Simran Mand added three overall, Faris Anas posted two points, as did Coleman Grayson and Gavin Patrick scored one.

The Knights, now 0-1 in league and 0-3 overall this season, will play Mariner on Tuesday, Dec. 17 in a 7:15 p.m. away game.
