Kamiak named Academic State Champion | Boys golf

The Kamiak boys golf team was named the 4A Academic State Champion for the 2017 spring season, the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association, Dairy Farmers of Washington, and Les Schwab Tires announced Friday, May 5.

The five members of the Knights, under coach Vic Alinen, have a combined 3.703 grade point average, the highest among all teams in their enrollment classification.

The Academic State Champions for spring include the following activities: baseball, boys and girls golf, boys soccer, softball, boys and girls tennis and boys and girls track and field.

The winning teams will be presented with a special plaque at the upcoming WIAA, Dairy Farmers of Washington, Les Schwab Tires State Championships. A complete list of Academic State Champions may be found HERE.
