Kamiak shuts out Monroe | Girls prep tennis

The Kamiak girls tennis team earned a dominating shut out win over Monroe on Tuesday, April 22. The Knights won 7-0.

In singles matches, Sally Park beat CeAnna Heit 6-0, 6-0, while Jenna Gilbert beat Kylie Cape 6-0, 6-0. Elizbeth Norris beat Marissa Godina 6-0, 6-2 and Hannah Hertzog beat Grace Liddiatt 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles matches, Estella Kim and Hannah Lee beat Jessica Cichanski and Paige Hall 6-3, 7-5, while Jessica Bae and Annette Song beat Courtney Kingery and Makenna Amsberry 6-2, 4-6, 6-1. Madison Duskin and Tawnie Nguyen beat Amber Stowell and Sam Remley 4-6, 7-6 (7-4) (10-6).

The Knights, now 7-1 in league and 7-2 this season, will play at Snohomish on Wednesday, April 23 at 3:30 p.m.
