Kamiak High School freshman Charlotte Lee recently took part in the Seattle Street Scramble in downtown Seattle on Saturday, Dec. 14.

She finished in first place in the junior division.

Street Scramble is like a scavenger hunt, bringing teams or individuals to a specific area, who must find clues on a map and answer questions at each check-point.

Lee also competes in orienteering, a navigation race, and was a junior varsity National Orienteering Champion with her former school in Kansas. She also works with younger students to teach the sport.
