‘Kaputnik’ to play at Phoenix Theatre

The Phoenix Theatre presents Kaputnik by Frank Semermano,  directed by Erick Lewis, from May 31 thru June 23.

Shows are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m.

Dr. Myles Stanton and his bumbling assistant Blaine, who is obsessed with an invasion form Mars, are in charge of an obsolete observatory in the desert.

On the evening of the launch of Sputnik three strangers arrive dressed in trench coats, sunglasses and fedoras and involve the men in an international game of cat and mouse that will keep you guessing and laughing until the surprise ending.

Cast:  David Bailey, Austin Gregory, Laura Hanson, Susan Connors, Asa Sholdez and Melanie Calderwood.
