Last weekend to see ‘The Music Man’
The Edmonds Driftwood Players present the classic American musical, “The Music Man,” By Meredith Willson.
They're here! Seventy-six trombones! A hundred and ten cornets! All part of a marching band with stars in their eyes, led by Professor Harold Hill, the finest virtuoso ever to arrive in River City, Iowa, to try to fleece the good townspeople out of their money.
Meredith Willson's “The Music Man,” one of the most beloved musicals ever, follows Professor Hill as he works his crafty con and then unexpectedly, meets the one woman who sees through him and yet falls in love with him.
Is she worth the risk of getting caught? Find out, and enjoy some of the best music ever written for a musical, as we root out "trouble with a capital T."
Don't miss the fine barbershop quartet or the beautiful love song, "Till There Was You." Meet you at the big parade!
