Learn about Parent Mentor program

Mar 20, 2013

Learn about the Edmonds Community College Parent Mentor program. Parent Mentors are caring individuals who volunteer to help newcomer and minority families feel at home in our schools.

Find out how parent mentors support and strengthen our community.

This unique program helps parent volunteers in our schools go to college.

The students – who are bilingual and bi-cultural – come from school districts, Head Start programs, and ECEAP programs in Snohomish and King counties.

The meeting will be held from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, in Snohomish Hall, room 304, at Edmonds Community College. Light refreshments will be served.

Find directions to Edmonds CC at www.edcc.edu/campus. Parking is free and open to anyone after 2 p.m.
